About this role
As a Maintenance Mechanic Technician at AMP, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing processing and support systems within the facility. Your role includes performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and coordinate with the Plant Manager to enhance equipment reliability and safety in the workplace.

What you need
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
- 3 (or more) years of direct experience maintaining same or similar machinery, in a production or processing environment
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic equipment, circuits, and components
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Motor and Gearbox replacements

- Training and experience consistent with NFPA 70E Qualified Person requirements
- Knowledge of electrical hazards, shock and arc-flash risks, required PPE, safe work practices, and procedures for working on or near energized electrical equipment
- Experience with industrial controls (valves, sensors, actuators, control systems, Electro Hydraulic Experience, conveyor (tracking), rollers)
- Experience selecting appropriate circuit protectors, wire and cable, sensors, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O, VFD and servo systems
