About this role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at ALTEN Technology USA, you will focus on the design and development of electrical systems for heavy-duty transit buses. What you need
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience
- Familiarity with automotive, commercial, and/or heavy-duty vehicle design
- Fluency with BOM, documentation control, and revision/version management
- Demonstrated working knowledge of harness design and CAD software such as Zuken or Capital
- Experience working with major component suppliers and testing suppliers
Nice to have
- Direct experience in automotive, commercial, or heavy-duty vehicle design
- Experience with configure-to-order products and modular BOM management
- Prior experience with Infotainment systems, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), and Automatic Vehicle Monitoring (AVM) technologies
