What you need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Expert knowledge of common industry protocols (LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, MIPI)
- Proficient in circuit design with knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, video image processing, battery technology, motor controllers, and power distribution
- Strong ECAD skills applying knowledge of electrical design software for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Familiarity with gas and battery-powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and associated avionics and electronics
Nice to have
- Master's degree in an applicable electrical engineering or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical simulation tools such as LTspice
- Radio Frequency (RF) simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS or CST Microwave Studio
- MCAD with Autodesk Fusion360 and/or SolidWorks
- Embedded processors such as ARM, and embedded programming skills therein with C/C++
