As a Calibration Technician at Utah Scale Center, you will perform inspections, maintenance, calibration, and repairs of mechanical and electronic weighing equipment at various customer sites. What you need
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley
- Able to lift 50 lbs routinely
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
- Able and willing to obtain CDL class B (company-paid)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Nice to have
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
- Associate's degree in engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
- Technical Degree or Certificate
