About this role
As a Virtual Intervention Specialist at Gateway Online Academy of Ohio, you will support the educational and behavioral goals of students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing and implementing behavior improvement plans, facilitating IEP meetings, and collaborating with teachers to modify curricula. You will also engage with families about their children's progress and participate in planning non-instructional activities, all while working in a virtual environment with occasional in-person requirements for state testing and events.

What you need
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Experience working in a full room inclusion type model or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model
- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment
- High quality written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
