What You Will Do
- Play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients
- Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
- Perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation
- Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects
- Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities
- Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
- 4+ years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field
- PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months
- Functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
- Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
