Area Manager, Quality Assurance
As an Area Manager for Quality Assurance at Walmart, you will be instrumental in upholding and improving the quality and safety standards within your assigned area of responsibility. This role involves implementing business plans, managing teams, overseeing quality assurance processes, and ensuring system applications function optimally.
Key Responsibilities
- Implements the business plan for assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals.
- Maintains quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on applicable policies, monitoring compliance, distributing procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Manages quality assurance processes by identifying industry best practices, evaluating review processes, developing and implementing changes, and assessing service level data to identify training needs and develop action plans.
- Supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation processes.
- Manages the troubleshooting of systems applications by coordinating problem resolution with the Information Systems Division and vendors, and supporting the continuing development of current and future systems applications.
- Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice, supporting alignment with customer and business needs, and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to changes.
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into business plans and demonstrating their application in business processes.

- Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, Human Resources, or related field and 1 year’s experience in logistics, training, quality assurance, supply chain management, or related area; OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, training, quality, supply chain management, or related area.
