VITAS Healthcare is seeking a proactive Recruiting Strategist to develop and evolve strategic sourcing strategies, creating an ongoing talent pipeline to meet hiring goals. This role partners with the Recruiting Team and Leadership to implement these strategies and best practices. You will use creativity to enhance recruitment processes, maintain talent pipelines, and position the team as trusted advisors in talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Team and Leadership on best practices and process evolution.
- Train and advise Recruiters on new resources and tools to improve the recruitment process.
- Generate, analyze, and share reports on sourcing and hiring activity, recruitment costs, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate applicant flow and recommend enhancements to increase qualified applicants.
- Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment outcomes.
- Manage the setup of virtual hiring events on platforms like Indeed.
- Partner with Marketing to create job-specific recruitment materials and execute marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with HRIS to optimize and enhance the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) utilization.
- Ensure adherence to recruitment processes, policies, and procedures for efficient hiring.
- Assist recruiters in screening resumes for hard-to-fill and priority positions.
- Provide insights on the marketplace, trends, and competitive recruitment practices to the Recruiting Team.
- Consistently exceed KPI metrics.
- Participate in meetings with hiring teams to provide updates and develop targeted strategies.
- Adhere to standardized recruitment procedures to drive focus and improve efficiency.
- Attend required meetings, training activities, and courses.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruitment role.
- Hands-on experience with job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of social media and niche professional website sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, Handshake).
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory practices in recruitment.
- Working knowledge of ATS systems (Oracle preferred) and sourcing capabilities.
- Experience identifying, managing, and reporting on staffing and recruiting metrics.
- Advanced time management skills, including prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details for multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and sourcing skills, utilizing advanced Boolean searches.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering, and building relationships with hiring leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to navigate automated systems.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
