Role Overview
This Senior HR Director, Business Partner role is dedicated to two therapeutic business units within the Clinical Development Services division (CDSD); Internal Medicine & Respiratory, Infectious Diseases and Vaccines. These units have a revenue of approximately $2B and teams of over 1,600 global colleagues.

- Offer coaching, organizational design, change management, and translate business priorities into impactful people strategies.
- Build organizational capabilities and innovative HR solutions to hire, engage, and develop top industry talent.
- Develop and mentor a team of HR Business Partners supporting global Clinical Operations leaders.
What will you do?
Talent Mindset
Promote forward-thinking HR strategies and talent management plans aligned with business goals for attracting, retaining, and developing diverse, engaged talent. Provide leadership coaching, performance management support, and high potential identification to create top-performing teams.
Business Acumen and Data Insight
Utilize HR analytics to improve talent and business capabilities and influence positive culture change. Develop a solid understanding of industry, market, and functional trends to craft business-specific talent strategies driven by data insights.
Consultation
Facilitate and support evolving organizational needs to drive effectiveness through talent, capabilities, and culture. Act as a catalyst for change, guiding and directing organizational design, development, and change management solutions.
Change Leadership
Drive change by leading organizational design, development, and culture initiatives built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement). Provide creative solutions to complex global business challenges by combining unique ideas, technologies, and approaches.
Organizational Adaptability and Resolve
Establish a solid organizational network that promotes a "One HR Team" approach. Consult with Centers of Excellence (COE’s) in Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, and Analytics & Diversity to achieve successful program objectives.
People Management
Develop a team of HR Business Partners by providing coaching, mentorship, employee engagement, and work direction. Conduct performance appraisals and career discussions, facilitating employee career development.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 12+ years of relevant HR experience.
- 4+ years in a strategic business partner role supporting senior leaders/executives with financial (P&L) responsibility.
- Experience in a services environment, preferably with billable talent.
- Demonstrated success in implementing organizational design, business, and change programs.
- Experience influencing global teams in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed, and diverse environment.
- Exposure to and ability to implement process improvement approaches.
- Strong consultative style with proven ability to influence and lead others.
- Experience leveraging financial acumen, insights, and data for strategic consultation.
- Equivalency: Appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered.

Location & Compensation
Location: Morrisville, NC (Raleigh). Relocation assistance is provided.
Salary Range: $175,000 - $265,000 USD annually.
Bonus: Eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance.
