About the role
District Sales Manager - Spirit Halloween
Spirit Halloween is seeking a dedicated and experienced District Sales Manager for a seasonal position. This role is crucial for overseeing the successful operation of approximately 3 stores within your assigned district, from initial setup to closing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, payroll, recruiting, training, employee relations, expense control, and shrink reduction.
- Oversee the construction, opening, operation, and closing/tear down of assigned Spirit stores.
- Drive sales performance and ensure exceptional customer experiences across all stores in the district.
- Recruit, train, and develop store teams to meet operational and sales goals.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure efficient inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a multi-store supervisory position is required.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, sales, and operations for multiple retail locations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical demands including standing/walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Weekly rate ranges from $1,050 - $1,075, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
- Benefits include Michigan Paid Sick Pay, Repeat DSM Bonus Program, and DSM Seasonal Incentive Program (subject to qualifications).
Job Period:
This is a seasonal position, typically starting in July and ending in November.
