What You'll Do:
You'll own the product vision and roadmap for SolarEdge's data platform - the energy intelligence operating system spanning device integration, data infrastructure, AI/ML services, and third-party developer enablement. This is a senior IC-to-lead role with direct influence on architecture decisions, partnership strategy, and organizational build-out.
- Own the platform product roadmap across platform core layers
- Define and prioritize shared/core services with clear ownership, versioning, and SLAs
- Drive the semantic/data layer strategy that enables internal products and external agents to consume energy intelligence
- Partner with engineering leadership on DevOps model, agentic dev lifecycle adoption, and platform reliability
- Work cross-functionally with business development to translate partner requirements into platform capabilities
Requirements:
- 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or data product management — ideally in energy, IoT, or systems-of-systems environments
- Experience owning shared services or internal platform products (not just customer-facing features)
- Comfort operating at the architecture level — you can hold a conversation about API design, event-driven systems, edge-cloud trade-offs, and data pipelines
- Track record building or scaling a platform team (hiring, structuring squads, establishing PM processes)
- Familiarity with AI/ML productization — you don't need to train models, but you understand how to scope, prioritize, and ship data-driven products
- Strong opinion on developer experience and ecosystem strategy (open source, partner SDKs, API versioning)
- Ability to work in a ~200-person R&D org where you'll need to influence without always having direct authority
Nice to Have:
- Domain knowledge in DER, VPP, grid services, or energy management systems
- Experience with DERMS, SCADA, or utility-facing platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FERC 2222,14a, BSI)
- Hebrew and English language skills
