Area Business Manager Hematology Oncology
Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager (ABM) for Hematology/Oncology in Los Angeles, CA. The ABM will be responsible for achieving annual sales objectives within their territory by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role involves strategic territory planning, effective use of Sanofi Genzyme resources, and applying strong selling techniques to increase product understanding and identify appropriate patients.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business plan aligned with marketing strategies, incorporating territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights, with quarterly updates.
- Implement business plans by effectively utilizing all available resources to engage with Hematologists, Oncologists, and other key customers.
- Become an expert in the product, disease state, and market landscape to effectively promote the Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with field partners, including the Oncology Transplant Network Manager (ONM), Key IDNs/Systems, Reimbursement, Account Managers, other ABMs, and Medical teams to ensure strategic pull-through.
- Maintain accurate call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports, adhering to all pharmaceutical compliance guidelines.
- Demonstrate effective account targeting and time management skills.
- Attend required training sessions, conventions, and symposia.
- Complete all fleet safety training and maintain a safe driving record.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Sales experience in Oncology/Hematology is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree with a focus on business or life sciences is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, planning, and execution.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Up to two years of successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products is preferred.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with the hospital and cancer center environment are preferred.
- Must be able to drive a company car safely to daily meetings and appointments.
