You'll also contribute to our Content Policy Platform, empowering teams across Roblox to add and manage content access policies that are vital to our platform's integrity and safety.
You Will
- Contribute to the architecture and development of our Content Policy Platform, a high-throughput service handling millions of requests per second for content access decisions across the Roblox platform.
- Work hand-in-hand with ML engineers, directly contributing to the development, productionization, and ongoing enhancement of machine learning models. These models play a critical role in automatically reviewing Content Maturity questionnaires and detecting regional policy violations at scale across millions of experiences.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability.
You Have
- 5+ years building highly available, large-scale distributed backend systems.
- 5+ years delivering and maintaining production software for large-scale applications.
- Proficient in Go, Java, C#, or similar OOP languages with strong design principles.
- Excellent cross-team collaborator with a drive to complete projects.
- Curious and proactive in learning new technologies and growing technical skills.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Compensation and Benefits
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.- Annual Salary Range: $196,750—$243,290 USD
