About the role
DevOps Engineer (Contract)
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support next-generation AI systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Your expertise will directly contribute to training high-performance AI models by maintaining robust development and deployment pipelines. This is a unique opportunity to apply DevOps best practices in a cutting-edge AI-driven environment, collaborating with domain experts across finance, healthcare, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud providers.
- Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across multiple environments.
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker, and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Manage IAM policies, secrets, and access controls to maintain security and compliance.
- Optimize logging architecture to capture and analyze system data for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices, with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable application deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for automated provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to streamline software delivery.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for system observability.
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
