Aseptic Process Project Manager
Piper Companies is seeking an Aseptic Process Project Manager to join a leading organization within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry for an on-site contract position located in Clayton, NC.
The Aseptic Process Project Manager will support large-scale capital projects and RFP-driven initiatives across aseptic production operations, including material flow, inspection, cleaning/sterilization, formulation, and fill/finish systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination and execution of aseptic processing workstreams tied to capital expansion and vendor RFP activities
- Oversee cross-functional integration of material handling, inspection, wash/sterilization, formulation, and filling systems
- Manage vendor relationships, review proposals, and support technical bid evaluations for multiple project packages
- Ensure alignment with cGMP standards, regulatory expectations, and internal quality requirements throughout project lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, and operations teams to drive timelines, mitigate risk, and maintain project milestones
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing projects, preferably within aseptic or sterile environments
- Strong understanding of aseptic processing workflows, including fill/finish and sterilization systems
- Experience working with capital projects, RFP processes, and vendor management
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, and validation practices within life sciences manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $130,000-$145,000/year (USD)
