About the role
Purpose of the Position
The Service Delivery Management Specialist will assist with the Product and Technology department’s course delivery efforts based on the goals, objectives, and standards of the organization. Specifically, the Service Delivery Management Specialist will ensure all customers are associated with the necessary courses in multiple platforms and manage customer requested changes to course metadata. The Service Delivery Management Specialist will support department efforts by working with the Product Management team to ensure new and updated courses are associated with the necessary customers for the appropriate school year.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
- Associate courses in multiple platforms with customers based on guidance from Product Management and school leadership.
- Manage and update course metadata based on internal and external requests.
- Analyze data from multiple sources using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Assist with refining ADO user stories and creating tasks as needed.
- Determine and document processes.
- Effectively manage various tasks and deadlines on a daily basis.
- Communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. This includes the ability to problem-solve, be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google business applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Educational Management Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile principles.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location. The full-time salary range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000. This position is eligible for Pearson’s annual incentive program. Information on benefits can be found here.
