About the role
About the Role
Pappas Restaurants is seeking current Managers and Supervisors who are passionate about our people, culture, and growth to serve as Recruiting Ambassadors. This is a program-based assignment for current Pappas salaried managers and supervisors who want to support recruiting efforts in addition to their regular responsibilities. Ambassadors will continue working in their home location while participating in scheduled recruiting events throughout the year. Participation is flexible and coordinated with operational needs to ensure ambassadors can support recruiting without impacting restaurant performance. This position plays an important role in attracting a pipeline of talent to support our current and future staffing needs. Recruiting Ambassadors will serve as brand representatives, sharing the Pappas culture, career opportunities, and commitment to people-first hospitality with students and potential candidates.
Responsibilities
- Represent Pappas Restaurants and its brands at university career fairs, hiring events and community outreach initiatives
- Engage with students and candidates to promote career opportunities within Pappas
- Build and maintain relationships within the community and university networks
- Identify and refer strong talent through personal and professional connections
- Help attract future hospitality leaders
- Communicate and exemplify the Pappas culture and values
Requirements
- Must be a current salaried manager or supervisor with Pappas Restaurants
- Must be in good standing with the company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for hospitality, leadership, and team development
- Ability to represent the Pappas brand in a professional and positive manner
- Comfortable speaking with groups and networking with candidates
- Travel is required and may include local day trips, travel by flight or overnight stays
