About the role
Senior QA Engineer
Monks is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our growing teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and strategic thinking to ensure product quality at scale. This role involves defining and executing test strategies, building automated test suites, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Lead and implement test automation using Robot Framework (Python).
- Ensure continuous integration quality by integrating tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and PMs to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics.
- Proactively assess risks and contribute to release readiness decisions.
- Experience working with Web testing.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles.
- Proven experience with Robot Framework or other industry-standard testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), and strong Python scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
- Deep understanding of software testing principles, test strategy, and SDLC.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and make strategic quality decisions.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week.
