LRS Healthcare is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team. If you are in or around Urbandale, IA, we want to speak with you!
What You Will Do:
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and implementing partnerships with traveling long-term care, allied, and nursing healthcare professionals nationwide. This integral role involves sourcing new caregivers and directly impacting healthcare staffing across the country. We are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset, go-getter initiative, and the drive to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals. This position supports the department by sourcing new talent and collaborating with Account Managers, Sr. Account Managers, and Team Leads to identify employment opportunities for caregivers at healthcare facilities nationwide. This role offers potential career growth, either as a long-term sourcing specialist or as a stepping stone to an Account Manager position.
A Day in the Life:
- Provide excellent customer service to caregivers, primarily through phone-based recruiting and outreach.
- Maintain relationships with caregivers from initial contact through placement, focusing on their experience and retention.
- Follow up on qualified leads and actively seek potential candidates within the healthcare field for open positions nationwide.
- Conduct initial phone screens to qualify candidates for open positions, then collaborate with Account Managers to determine suitable matches.
- Consistently meet division metrics, including dials, placements, and profile creation.
- Actively explore new and unique recruiting tools to drive business growth.
- Promote a team-oriented culture.
- Adhere to all company policies and standards.
Who You Are:
- College Degree preferred, but not required. New college graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally via phone, email, text, and in person.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook.

This position does not involve supervising other team members.
