About the role
Media Manager
Love Advertising is looking for a Media Manager who has lead media strategy and execution for an agency, media organization, or client and is ready to be the quarterback of a team. The right person is as comfortable in a client meeting as they are in an internal review. They’re organized, invested, and ready to roll up their sleeves alongside the team. Note: Love Advertising has a hybrid work policy requiring weekly time in our physical Houston office. This is not a remote position.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the day-to-day client lead for media accounts across multiple industries, managing relationships with confidence and accountability
- Translate client business objectives into clear, actionable briefs for media buying and digital teams
- Oversee project workflow across internal departments by keeping timelines, budgets, and deliverables on track
- Review all client-facing materials before they go out the door
- Manage and mentor junior account staff
- Stay ahead of client industries through ongoing research
- Review and align with media team on plans, broadcast buys, billboards, print, digital media, etc.
- Oversee trafficking, creative rotations, and campaigns
- Connect with the Houston and Texas media community through leadership and participation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field
- 6+ years of agency account management or media planning experience, with direct client contact
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior clients
- Experience in building strategic media plans and buys for traditional and digital campaigns
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
