About the Role
Internet Brands is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal Department in El Segundo. This role will focus on supporting the internal Legal Team in day-to-day operations, with potential specializations in contract management, intellectual property maintenance, legal and regulatory compliance, and general corporate and litigation matters. A key aspect of this role will be leveraging AI to assist in daily duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Legal Team with all aspects of contract intake and management, including primary oversight of internal and external-facing legal, privacy, and compliance email inboxes.
- Assist with the maintenance of the corporate intellectual property portfolio, including the curation and registration of trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Support the legal document review process, including expediting, prioritizing, summarizing, and reviewing various contracts (NDAs, customer agreements, vendor agreements, etc.).
- Develop and integrate AI into daily projects and tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain corporate insurance policies by collecting and organizing confidential data and communicating issues effectively.
- Review marketing-related materials and assist with compliance review of new products, services, and features.
- Research applicable laws, regulations, codes, and publications.
- Update legal reference books and attend legal webinars.
- Coordinate legal documents, bills/invoices, litigation activities, various audits, and special projects.
- Support the Legal Team with due diligence for potential M&A and other corporate transactions.
