Job Summary
IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical is seeking an Office Manager in Tigard, OR to provide construction management support. This role involves coordinating with Project Managers, completing project billings through customer portals, conducting sub-tier contract compliance reviews, maintaining job files and correspondence, and obtaining project insurance certificates. The Office Manager will also maintain logs and records for project contracts, manage credit card expenses and their allocation to projects, and oversee overall office maintenance operations. Daily, weekly, and monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable functions will be managed, along with weekly payroll time reconciliations to ensure they are completed on schedule. This position offers administrative and employee liaison support for payroll, accounting, and human resources departments. Proficiency in EXCEL and other software, including company and customer portal platforms, is essential. The role requires working independently with a high degree of accuracy, completing special projects, and performing other duties as assigned by senior management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' recent related administrative and accounting experience.
- Construction accounting experience (AIA, Time & Material billings, change orders).
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Sarbanes Oxley Auditing.
- Spectrum Accounting software knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL) and general accounting software skills.
- Strong attention-to-detail and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficient organizational and time management skills.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
