The Sales Manager will be responsible for securing group business ranging from 10 to 100 peak room nights, focusing on accounts within the Central U.S., DMV region, Texas, entertainment, sports, government, and military markets. We are looking for someone with 2+ years of sales management experience.

As a Sales Manager, you’re not just generating and managing group sales – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Generate and convert new business: Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals.
- Build and maintain client relationships: Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, nurturing existing accounts and developing new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability.
- Develop targeted sales strategies: Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals.
- Lead end-to-end sales process: Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue.
- Manage booking details: Coordinate customer requirements including room, food and beverage, and meeting space, and ensure accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel’s sales management system.
- Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
