Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Sales Account Manager to virtually manage a portfolio of assigned or acquired accounts. Your responsibilities will include building and forecasting sales pipelines, developing account plans, and collaborating with internal sales teams, channel partners, and end customers to drive opportunities to closure. You may also be involved in generating and qualifying leads to create new sales opportunities and executing sales strategies for your designated accounts, territory, or industry vertical.
Responsibilities
- Sell moderately complex solutions, products, and services for assigned accounts, potentially partnering with field sales or selling independently.
- Create account plans for medium to high complexity accounts.
- Generate, qualify, and review new leads to drive sales opportunities to closure, working with partners or outside sales as needed.
- Understand client requirements and competitively position HPE solutions to meet their needs and drive retention.
- Build targeted sales pipelines and forecast data-driven sales activities.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/Sales).
- 3+ years of sales experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient account management, acquisition, retention, and development skills.
- Solid understanding of HPE's product and service portfolios.
- Knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions to address business challenges.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and potentially lead a sub-team.
