Job Summary
This position is responsible for producing valuable provider network insights that drive improvements to the quality of all lines of business. You will create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs, provide consultation to users, and work on cross-functional teams to address divisional issues. This role involves performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs. You will interface between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools for building actionable analysis and reports within the business environment. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to build relationships and continuously gain a deeper understanding of the division's data to meet business needs. You will analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers, and identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field.
- Understanding and high proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
- Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
- Ability to create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry (payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, etc.).
- Experience with version control/collaborative tools, such as GitHub.
- Experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience with leveraging AI tools such as Copilot or Claude.
Compensation
$61,500.00 - $136,100.00
