Role and Responsibilities
Your role will be:
- Adhering to the Fives Code of Conduct, Fives Safety Standards and all applicable national safety standards at all times.
- Responsible for growing system sales with Customers, keeping a focus on high margin hardware, assemblies and controls.
- Selling the Customer on the value of our offering: combustion systems, products and services, maximizing margin wherever possible.
- Responsible for managing every aspect of the company’s relationships and dealings with every Customer in their territory.
- Overall responsibility for the design and sale of thermal hardware solutions, process furnace revamps and aftermarket sales across a wide variety of industries.
- Analyze and recommend ways in which Customers can optimize their thermal processes with respect to efficiency, temperature uniformity, emissions and staffing - strive to become the Customers' Trusted Advisor.
- Exhibit excellence in all aspects of the Complex Sales Process applying appropriate principals of the Prime Process - Mastering the Complex Sale.
- Will speak, probe, and sell in terms of Profit Improvement, ROI, and Payback – Cost of the Problem.
- Speaks to the Customer's issues across all levels of the Cast of Characters.
- Reports to Marketing on changes or trends in the field affecting company products and services.
- Able to provide technical service for equipment and/or technical training for client employees when required.
- Possesses and continuously learns thermal process application expertise across our broad spectrum of markets and applications. Ensure our Complex Sales Process is followed, when appropriate, to expand the cast of characters, accurately identify customer drivers, statement of need, cost of problem, project risks and competitive solutions to best leverage our differential advantages on the opportunity.
- Responsible for accuracy and utilization of EBM.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial capital equipment sales.
- Industrial thermal process work experience is a plus.
- Proficient in following sales processes is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
