About the role
Scheduling Manager
The Schedule Manager is responsible for preparing and maintaining construction schedules to optimize project planning and execution. This role involves coordinating between project teams to ensure effective time management, resource allocation, and progress tracking. The Schedule Manager works closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to create accurate timelines, update schedules, and mitigate delays.
This role is a full-time and in-person position. Initial assignment will be on-site at an Evans’ jobsite near Denver, CO.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders including field staff, and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates
- Builder’s mindset and proficiency in Critical Path Methodology
- Ability to navigate, read, and comprehend construction drawings and specifications
- Meet with Project Management, Owners, Field Teams & Subcontractors in development of baseline schedule, monthly updates and recovery schedules
- Identify and communicate significant schedule risks
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures and work with project staff to facilitate development of the project schedule
- Evaluate the performance of the project by analyzing significant schedule, budget and/or resource variances
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly documents including updates, critical path reports, near term schedules, narratives, etc.
- Utilize Primavera P6 and or MS Project scheduling software to update and document schedule performance
- Monitor and status schedule progress
- Analyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc.
- Collaborate with preconstruction teams to generate proposal and baseline schedules
- Interact with scheduling consultant in schedule reviews, claims analysis, etc.
- Participate in and create training for various stakeholders within and without the company
- Expert skillset required in P6 and MS project. Understanding advantages and disadvantages and use case scenarios for each software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling
- 3-5 years of commercial construction scheduling experience preferred in Data Center, Life Sciences & Manufacturing
- Primavera P6 & MS Project scheduling experience
- Solid understanding of industry and construction field practices
- Good organization and communication skills
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $165,000
- Bonus: Up to 25% base salary commensurate with performance
- 401(k) Profit Sharing: Up to 10% of base salary
- Vehicle Allowance: $426.92/bi-weekly
