Staff Recruiter
ECS Group of Companies is seeking a proactive and skilled Staff Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to meet the company's current and future hiring needs. This role requires a strategic approach to recruitment, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize various sourcing tools including the internet, job boards, referrals, and professional networking sites to find quality passive candidates.
- Conduct cold calling and pre-screening of active and passive candidates to assess their fit for open positions.
- Perform on-site office visits to understand local office culture and personnel needs.
- Research and attend local networking events, engineering organization meetings, and career fairs as appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their current and future hiring requirements.
- Conduct initial interviews to gather information on work history, education, skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications.
- Review open job postings to match applicants with suitable job requirements.
- Guide hiring managers on effective recruiting techniques as outlined in the Technician Recruiting Guidebook.
- Manage and process all applicants through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Input and manage passive candidate data in iCIMS in compliance with OFCCP regulations.
- Implement recruiting best practices across all talent acquisition initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OFCCP regulations and ensure daily activities adhere to them.
- Communicate effectively with recruiting team members, suggesting and implementing improvements to recruiting strategies.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews, employee verifications, and other pre-screening functions as directed by the Recruiting Manager.
- Collaborate with regional and Corporate recruiting teams to achieve all recruiting goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2-4 years of related recruiting experience.
