The Network Planner will balance demand and supply for their value stream, identify at-risk demand for their portfolio, and set the guidelines for the consensus supply plan, considering constraints, allocations, and prioritization rules. This role involves horizontal liaison across the network rather than deep dives into specifics.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a team of Network Schedulers/MPS planners for the 0-3 months window and collaborate with Buyers, Material Planners, and Order Managers.
- Oversee capacity vs. demand (0-36 months horizon), flagging exceptions, and driving solutions.
- Partner with operations, warehousing, and operational procurement for capacity gap escalations.
- Manage value stream replenishment strategy in line with inventory policy and conduct regular parameter audits.
- Create the consensus supply plan, balancing finished goods inventory and capacity to meet demand on time and in full.
- Ensure production schedule adherence and attainment.
- Collaborate with SIOP and business teams to update finished goods inventory targets and policies.
- Review supply and inventory performance metrics, identify gaps, and liaise with stakeholders for improvement action plans.
- Drive value stream improvements in cash, cost, and customer service.
- Initiate scenario planning to optimize service, cash, and costs.
- Prioritize order allocation during supply constraints in collaboration with the Execution Scheduler.
- Provide supply vs. demand and inventory performance information for divisional SIOP meetings.
