About the role
Senior Product Manager - Integrations & Ecosystem
As a Senior Product Manager in the Ecosystem and Integrations group, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for a critical portion of Datadog’s integration landscape. You will focus on scaling Datadog’s connectivity with major SaaS providers and strategic technology partners while leading the evolution of the tools—including the Publication Platform, Integration Task Service, and SDKs—that empower external developers and internal teams to build within our ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Publication Platform & Task Service: Oversee the end-to-end vision and strategy for the Publication Platform (Pub Plat) and the Integration Task Service. Ensure these systems are robust, scalable, and intuitive for both internal and external developers.
- Ecosystem Relationship Enablement: In close collaboration with Technology Partner Managers (TPMs), help manage and scale technical relationships across the entire partner ecosystem. You will provide the product guidance and technical frameworks that allow TPMs to manage partner success at scale.
- Integration Developer Tooling & SDKs: Drive initiatives to increase development velocity through extensible SDKs (e.g., CrawlerSDK) and self-service enablement. Your goal is to make the developer experience (DX) seamless from the first line of code to production.
- Marketing & GTM Initiatives: Lead the creation of technical blogs, release notes, and feature announcements. Work with PMM and TPMs to define “rules of engagement” for marketing efforts with ISVs and drive joint GTM motions.
- Global Ecosystem Growth: Facilitate partner contributions through direct engagement and streamlined onboarding. Act as the primary PM advocate for third-party developers, ensuring our tooling roadmap removes friction for the ISV community.
- Quality & Backend Standards: Establish and enforce automated quality standards for the integration "under the hood"—including monitors, metrics metadata, and data schemas—ensuring that everything built via our tooling meets Datadog's high reliability and performance bars.
Who You Are
- Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in technical product management, ideally within B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools.
- Technical Acumen: You enjoy gaining a deep understanding of complex system architectures, developer workflows, and building for extensibility.
- Platform Thinker: You enjoy building "the machine that builds the machine." You have experience with SDK design and managing backend services that support high-concurrency developer tasks.
- Business minded: You think like a business owner and hold yourself and the organization accountable for KPIs.
- Communication Skills: You have strong communication skills and the willingness to present your ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike.
- Analytical skills: You have sharp critical thinking and analytical skills and the ability to link the product roadmap with business objectives.
- Collaborative Partner: You have demonstrated success in working alongside business-oriented roles (like TPMs or BizDev) to translate technical capabilities into strategic partner value.
- Proven Impact: A track record of shipping scalable infrastructure or developer products and driving meaningful business metrics like developer adoption and time-to-market.
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
