Account Manager - Energy Team
Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly Beecher Carlson, is seeking an Account Manager to join our Energy team. This role is crucial for driving client retention and growth by expertly managing the delivery of strategic risk solutions and nurturing sophisticated client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all deliverables.
- Assist clients in comprehending their risk programs and align services with their specific business objectives.
- Analyze client exposures and review historical data to contribute to strategic development.
- Prepare comprehensive client-facing materials, including proposals, analytics, and tailored service plans.
- Support senior team members in placement activities, encompassing data collection, submission preparation, and quote evaluation.
- Lead or assist in the renewal process, managing data collection, proposal review, and client presentations.
- Address client inquiries promptly and collaborate with internal departments to resolve service issues.
- Oversee day-to-day service transactions for assigned accounts, including meticulous documentation, invoicing, and deliverable coordination.
- Review contracts and other critical documents to identify and address risk-related considerations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory mandates.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary state broker licensing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, or risk advisory roles.
- Active state broker license(s) or the ability to obtain them promptly.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM are highly preferred.
- Experience with industry platforms like ImageRight or AMS360 is a plus.
