Registered Nurse Medical Surgical
Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit (6NT-Pool Days). This position plays a crucial role in patient care, focusing on planning, coordinating, intervening, and evaluating patient treatment based on established plans and individual needs. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and establish nursing diagnoses and care objectives.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating patient care.
- Intervening and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment plans.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to establish individualized patient care.
- Developing nursing diagnoses and setting care objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN).
- Alternatively, if attended an approved nursing school, must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.
- One to two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA or Red Cross are mandatory.
