Assistant Field Manager
Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an Assistant Field Manager to support our construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of various project phases, from initial review to final punch list.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Assist the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent with administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting tasks.
- Review and interpret shop drawings and submittals, and expedite materials.
- Monitor production rates and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Supervise subcontractors, monitor their work performance, progress, and productivity.
- Support and/or supervise work crews across all stages, from excavation to the final punch list.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and assist with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement.
- Assist with all project reporting obligations.
Qualifications
- A 4-year college degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
