Position Summary
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the preparation of compounded sterile products and related activities under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy. This role involves assisting in the supervision of IV technicians, interns, and other support personnel to ensure efficient and compliant pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure pharmacy compliance with all State Board of Pharmacy regulations and other governing agencies.
- Review orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing, resolving any discrepancies with customer pharmacy personnel.
- Provide after-hours On Call coverage as needed.
- Participate in the CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and perform assigned Quality Control functions.
- Contribute to successful pharmacy operations by troubleshooting equipment, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory.
- Maintain positive customer relationships.
- Supervise IV Technicians and interns, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance with CAPS SOPs.

Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 am - 6:30 pm) with one weekend per month. Holiday/overtime as needed.
- Hourly Wage: $57.81 - $67.50
