Structural Engineer - Bridges and Civil Structures
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures Team in Tampa, FL. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in civil engineering with a world-class organization.
Your Role
- Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.
- Support senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines.
- Complete assigned technical training for career development.
- Participate in the Quality Control process for design and plan development.
About You
- Education: Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering required. Master's of Science in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience preferred; no experience is required.
- Special Skills: Ability to perform fundamental checks from AASHTO LRFD related to moment, shear, deflection, and stress. 3D analysis and experience with FDOT MathCAD templates are preferred.
- Registrations: E.I. or E.I.T. required.
