Senior Product Manager – Server
ASUS is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Server to lead strategy, planning, and execution for their server solutions within the Open Platform Business Group. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through expert product strategy, deep customer engagement, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. You will support enterprise customers, service providers, and system integrators, utilizing independent judgment, strategic thinking, and strong execution to achieve measurable business results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets for assigned server product lines.
- Developing and executing strategic product and business plans to grow revenue and expand the customer base.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with enterprise customers, service providers, and system integrators.
- Partnering with customers to understand business needs and align ASUS server solutions accordingly.
- Clearly articulating ASUS value propositions through proposals, presentations, and executive-level discussions.
- Coordinating local teams with headquarters project teams to execute product and business initiatives.
- Creating and presenting win-win business cases and negotiating ASUS presence at named accounts.
- Collaborating closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to plan product assortments aligned with business goals.
- Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Developing and evaluating promotional plans aligned with product line and market strategy.
- Leading and supporting RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses.
- Participating in pre-sales engineering discussions requiring technical and commercial expertise.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Performing other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S or B.A.) or above, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Server platforms with a proven track record of product management with top Service Providers, Enterprise customers, and System Integrators.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of servers, storage, enterprise applications, and the commercial server industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of server platforms, storage, enterprise applications, and the commercial server industry.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to deliver effective sales pitches and executive-level presentations.

Working Conditions:
- This is an office-only role, typically working in an office environment.
- Requires sitting and operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
- Up to 30% domestic travel may be required as business needs dictate.
Compensation & Benefits:
The estimated annual pay range for this role in Fremont, California, is $160,000 – $220,000. Final compensation will be determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience. ASUS offers a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and 401(k).
