About the role
GSOC Analyst - Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services
Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a GSOC Analyst. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst plays a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on global threats that may impact the client, its employees, or its operations. Using open-source intelligence and internal systems, the analyst assesses risks, supports crisis response efforts, and helps maintain robust risk management protocols. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, timely communication of emerging threats, and the development of best practices to enhance organizational resilience. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst will be required to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global events using open-source intelligence to identify potential threats to the client.
- Analyze and report security incidents using internal incident management systems.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and registers.
- Assess credibility and relevance of intelligence to support risk-based decision making.
- Draft and distribute clear, actionable reports for stakeholders and leadership.
- Support planning and execution of risk assessments and crisis response protocols.
- Collaborate with internal security personnel and external partners to manage incidents.
- Recommend improvements to operational processes and threat mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders across departments.
Qualifications (must Have)
Must possess one of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year or more of Security Operations Center experience, preferably in a global support role.
- Well versed in current GSOC technologies.
- Competence with MS Office Suite and other database systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; skilled in the preparation of written reports of incidents in proper format and with correct grammar and spelling.
- Able to disseminate information effectively and confidently to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives, and stakeholders.
- Able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
- Capable of maintaining company and customer information with the utmost discretion.
Preferred Qualifications (nice To Have)
- College degree in criminal justice, security management or a related field of study.
- Experience in a global organization.
