Project Engineer
Abbott Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all project phases. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a long-term career in construction, focusing on managing key project processes and contributing to a high level of safety and project success.
Primary Duties
- Manage the submittal process.
- Manage the RFI process.
- Manage the change order proposal process.
- Provide research, backup support, legwork, and data entry as requested by the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Complete budget revisions and modifications in Viewpoint as required.
- Assist in maintaining a high level of safety in alignment with Abbott's core values.
- Apply knowledge of engineering methods, construction methods, and human management skills.
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects to meet deadlines.
- Offer support to the estimating department by soliciting subcontractors and managing/distributing plans.
- Serve as the main point of contact for subcontractors as requested.
- Act as a Project Manager when a Project Manager is unavailable, if needed.

Compensation and Benefits
The full salary range for this position is $78,000 to $105,000 annually, with eligibility for a target bonus.
