About this role
As a Chemical Engineer at Voyager Technologies, you will support the establishment of a new chemical manufacturing facility by specifying, procuring, designing, building, testing, and commissioning chemical process equipment. You will translate lab data into process requirements, work with a technician team to develop solutions, and ensure the safe operation of equipment while identifying and managing engineering risks. This role is on-site in Penrose, CO, with a shift to Pueblo, CO expected in the future.

What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline OR 4+ years of experience in chemical engineering in lieu of a degree
- Experience taking a process through design, testing, iteration, and scale-up
- Experience executing a project on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Working knowledge of mass and energy balances, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
- Working knowledge of common unit operations employed in chemical manufacturing
- Ability to communicate effectively through written, verbal, and presentation channels while explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- 2 years of chemical engineering experience (with a bachelor’s degree in engineering) or 6 years of chemical engineering experience (in lieu of a degree)
- Experience with one or more of the following unit operation types: electrochemistry, evaporation, crystallization, dewatering, drying, and powder packaging
