About this role
As a Principal GNC Engineer at True Anomaly, you will lead the end-to-end development of spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems. What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related discipline
- 15+ years of hands-on experience developing and fielding spacecraft GNC systems
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
- Deep understanding of spacecraft attitude dynamics, orbital mechanics, and actuator/sensor physics
- Significant experience with estimation and filtering techniques
- Experience designing control laws and performing stability analysis
Nice to have
- Experience developing GNC systems for proximity operations or autonomous maneuvering
- Expertise with FDIR related to GNC components
- Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded software
- Track record of technical leadership in GNC solutions
