What you need
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent degree
- 0+ years of direct experience (Associate Engineer - level I) or 2+ years (Engineer - level II) in structural analyses
- Experience working with Nastran/Patran
- Understanding of solid mechanics and material science principles
- Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD software
- Good presentation and communication skills
Nice to have
- Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering with a solid mechanics focus
- Previous experience developing detailed and simplified structural models for spacecraft
- Experience with vibration and static load testing of components and systems
- Experience in a production environment within the space/aerospace industry
- Experience with MSC software package (MSC Apex, NASTRAN, PATRAN, ADAMS, MARC)
