What you need

  • 4+ years of experience in tax data analysis, finance operations, tax system implementation, or a similar analytical role
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, reconcile data across multiple systems, identify variances, document findings, and communicate issues clearly to tax, finance, and IT stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with U.S. sales and use tax, indirect tax, VAT/GST, Avalara or similar tax technology platforms, ERP/subledger systems, financial reporting tools, or tax engine data
  • Familiarity with SQL, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, Databricks or similar data/reporting tools; experience working with Data Engineering or Product teams is a plus
