About this role
The Network Engineer will support the NATO Communications and Information Agency by configuring and maintaining Deployable Communication and Information Systems (DCIS) kits. This role involves ensuring network components are integrated and validated according to technical designs, managing project schedules, and facilitating system integration and user acceptance testing. The engineer will also be responsible for documenting processes and troubleshooting technical issues.

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least five years of professional experience in network engineering roles
- Experience in design, implementation, configuration, integration, deployment, and support of enterprise network infrastructures
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms
- Ability to configure and optimize dynamic routing protocols including IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP
- Experience preparing technical documentation and test plans
Nice to have
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Service Provider certification
- Familiarity with Thales TCE 621 family IP Cryptographic Equipment or equivalent military-grade IP encryption devices
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities, structure, and organisational context
