What you need
- 5+ years of hands-on KYC / CDD / EDD experience in a regulated UK financial services firm (bank, EMI, PI, payments, or e-money)
- Strong knowledge of UK regulations including MLR 2017, JMLSG, and FCA financial-crime expectations
- Experience in designing or materially improving a KYC framework, procedure, or control
- Ability to write clear procedures and defend risk decisions to product teams
- Willingness to handle cases and engage directly with KYC files
Nice to have
- Second-line Compliance or Financial Crime experience
- Experience with payments, wallets, P2P, or e-money KYC for retail or SME
- ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent certification
- Experience building KYC frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience collaborating with product or engineering on onboarding, risk rating, or control design
