About this role
As an EDM Machinist at SpaceX, you will support the production of Starlink products by operating and programming sinker and wire EDM machines to create complex molds and parts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include optimizing electrode designs, machining to tight tolerances, performing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with engineers to enhance production efficiency.

What you need
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years CNC EDM set-up, operating, and basic programming experience
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to work either 1st or 2nd shifts as well as overtime and weekends as needed
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee eligible for required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

- 5+ years CNC EDM set-up, operating, and basic programming experience
- 1+ year experience CNC programming machining for electrodes
- 1+ year of pulling or designing electrodes
- Experience with CNC EDM hole drilling/hole popper setup
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and experience with GD&T
