About this role
As a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer at SharkNinja, you will work within the Systems Engineering group to define product requirements, prototype designs, and guide cross-functional teams in developing innovative consumer products. What you need
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical systems engineering
- Experience programming microcontrollers — reading sensor data and controlling actuators (motors, LEDs)
- 3D CAD modeling experience (CREO or SolidWorks preferred)
- Familiarity with 3D printing and production processes such as injection molding
- Strong grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals and DFM manufacturing techniques
Nice to have
- Experience designing/testing consumer products, electromechanical devices, or small appliances
- Strong analytical skills and ownership of problem resolution
- Hands-on machine shop/fabrication skills
- Electronics (analog/digital) and test equipment knowledge
