About this role
The Advisory Curriculum Writer is responsible for designing and developing high-quality Advisory curriculum for high school students, focusing on self-development, critical thinking, and college and career readiness. What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience working with high school-aged students (teaching, advising, counseling, mentoring, or program coordination)
- Strong background in student-centered and culturally responsive pedagogy, Social-emotional learning (SEL), college and career readiness instruction, equity-and justice-oriented curriculum design
- Proficiency in educational technology (e.g. Google Workspace, Brightspace, Miro, Snorkl, Level All)
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines across multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience coaching teachers or providing instructional resources is a plus

- Compensation of $58/hr
- Part-Time, Temporary position through August 31, 2027
