About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Rise8, you will work closely with clients, many of whom are new to modern software practices, to develop custom software solutions. Your role will involve decomposing business problems, collaborating with client developers, and ensuring continuous delivery of software while gathering real-time feedback. You will also lead engineering discussions, manage technical debt, and mentor less experienced engineers within your product team.

What you need
- Active DoD security clearance
- 6-10 years of Software Development experience in a variety of programming languages
- Strong communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment
- Experience leveraging AI in software development, or a strong desire to learn
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies, including using AI tools to write and maintain tests
