About this role
As a Principal Engineer at Raft, you will serve as the embedded technical lead at Fort Hood, directly working with Army customers to deploy and integrate Raft's data platforms and AI solutions. What you need
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Active Secret clearance required
- U.S. citizenship required
- Hands-on production coding experience in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or Rust
- Strong DevSecOps experience: CI/CD, container builds, infrastructure as code, secrets management
- Working proficiency with Kubernetes sufficient to deploy, configure, and debug containerized products

- Experience integrating with Army data standards and mission systems
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes-based platforms in tactical edge environments
