About this role

As a Storage Operations Engineer at Qube Research & Technologies, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining scalable storage systems within a high-performance computing environment. What you need

  • 4+ years of experience in storage systems administration
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale storage environments (petabyte scale preferred)
  • Solid understanding of storage protocols across POSIX-compliant filesystems and S3
  • Knowledge of storage benchmarking, analysis, tuning, and optimization
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tooling, including Terraform, Ansible, Vault, GitLab, and Temporal
  • Working knowledge of Python and/or Golang

Nice to have

  • Experience with S3, NFS, NVMEoF, and RoCE
  • Expertise with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
